The Manse is a large house with six bedrooms, each of which can sleep up to three people, a modern, commercial kitchen with capacity to prepare up to 250 meals, a meeting room with fireplace, and the Pine Lounge, a charming dining room which can seat up to 100 people. Most of the Manse is accessible to wheelchairs.
The Dormitory has a wing with semi-private bedrooms, which can accommodate 100 people and a large fireplace room suitable for a similar number of people. Another dormitory wing is designed for younger children. There are also five “motel-style” private rooms, each with its own toilet and shower.
The Sunbarn is a meeting hall in a remodeled heritage barn. This quaint and large building is suitable for summer church services and other gatherings of up to 300 people. On the lower level of the barn, there is a cafe.
Church services can be held at the Outdoor Chapel. There is a permanent altar and ample portable seating.
The Nottawassaga River is a serene and enchanting area popular with licenced anglers. Catch and release only, by law.
Unserviced short-term campground sites near the river and swimming spots are available. No potable water, washrooms, or electricity. We suggest for your comfort to stay in the Dorm, motel-style rooms, or the Manse.
The accommodation rates for the main facilities are very reasonable – $20 per person per day for retreat groups of 75 people or more. Many groups prefer to do their own cooking in our kitchen, but fine catering is also available from local catering companies.
